Navigating the System

The Dashboard controls how you navigate the system.  It opens at the questionnaire list page.  This page can be filtered by selecting the stage at which your survey is currently in (circled below). Selecting one of these options will display the surveys you have in the system that are at that stage in the survey process.

 



Libraries:  From the main screen you also control and edit the various libraries displayed under the Libraries heading.  These libraries store the resources you may need to build your surveys and include:

  • The Image library - a file structure system for storing the images you wish to use in your survey,
  • The Question library - a set of surveys that store questions you use on a regular basis,
  • The Theme library - a collection of system based and user based styles for our surveys and an editor for full control over customization,
  • The Lists library - a collection of lists that can be used repeatedly in your surveys such as, brand lists, suburbs, postcodes etc.

Panels:  The Panels section is where you load, edit and select from lists of potential respondents to your surveys.  You can upload new lists, edit existing ones and delete old ones.

Account:  from this section you can control your account details and your password, list the surveys and sample sizes of surveys you have conducted in a specified period, and control the actions of group users if you have a multi-user account.


Hover-over options:  The system will display a set of options for each element of the system depending on which main section you are in.  For example - if you are at the dashboard and on the "Surveys" section, when you hover over a survey in the list the options available to click on will be displayed.  When you hover over the surveys that are in "Designing' mode the following options will be displayed:


Above you can see the options "Edit Survey", "put in Test Mode", "Test Survey" and "Print" are displayed.  Clicking on one of these will invoke the stated response.  

At the end of the row of options is a three dot dropdown menu continuing a further list of options relevant to "Designing" you survey.  Click on this three dot menu to reveal the options which here are:


The list of options revealed when you hover over a survey will change depending on the current survey status.  Below are the options revealed when your survey is in "Deployed" mode. They include:  "Monitor Progress", "Report", "Extract Data", and "Invitations".
